Plain Pie Crust - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sifted plain flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. shortening
    4 to 5 Tbsp. cold water
Preparation
    Cut shortening in flour and salt until pieces are the size of small peas.
    Sprinkle water over mixture.
    Form into ball.
    Place on pastry board.
    Roll out for an 8 or 9-inch pie pan.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes, until golden brown.
