Ingredients

2 c. self-rising flour
1/2 c. butter flavor Crisco
3/4 c. buttermilk
Preparation

Cut Crisco into flour.
Stir in buttermilk.
Knead slightly. Roll out to about 3/4 to 1-inch.
Cut into biscuits.
Bake at 425\u00b0 until golden brown.
Makes 10 to 12 biscuits.
These freeze well before baking.
