Jackie'S Fruit Cocktail Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 c. pecans, chopped
    1/2 c. coconut (optional)
    1 1/2 c. fruit cocktail
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. margarine or butter
Preparation
    Drain fruit cocktail.
    Mix sugar, margarine and eggs.
    Add dry ingredients.
    Add coconut, pecans and fruit.
    Bake in slightly greased 9 x 13-inch pan for 45 minutes at 350\u00b0.
