Oyster Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pt. oysters
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1 stick butter
    1 small box saltines
    1 tsp. thyme
Preparation
    Grease casserole well.
    Put a layer of oysters, then a layer of cracker crumbs. Repeat these layers, sprinkling thyme through the oyster layers.
    Dot butter through pie.
    After several layers, pour milk over the entire pie until mixture is level with top of casserole.
    Bake for 1/2 hour at 400\u00b0.
