Marcie'S King Ranch Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. chopped green pepper
    1 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. butter
    2 cans cream of chicken soup
    2 cans cream of mushroom soup
    1 (10 oz.) can Ro-Tel tomatoes
    1 (2 1/2 to 3 lb.) chicken
    7 to 8 oz. bag tortilla chips
    1 1/2 to 2 c. shredded cheese
    1 bay leaf
Preparation
    Stew chicken with pepper, salt and bay leaf.
    Bone and cut in bite size pieces.
    Cook green pepper and onions in butter until tender.
    Stir in soups and Ro-Tel.
    Simmer about 15 minutes until well blended.
    Add chicken to soup mix.
    Arrange tortilla chips in bottom of greased 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Pour soup mix on top of chips. Put cheese on top and bake at 325\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
