Sweet Potato Biscuits - cooking recipe

2 c. self-rising flour
1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1 c. cooked, mashed sweet potatoes
1 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
1/2 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. shortening
1/3 c. milk
Preparation

Combine flour, sugar, cinnamon; cut in shortening and butter with pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse meal.
Add potato and milk; stir until dry ingredients are moistened.
Turn dough out onto a floured surface; knead 3 or 4 times.
Roll dough to one-half inch thickness; cut with a 2-inch biscuit cutter. Place on greased baking sheets.
Bake at 425\u00b0 for 18 to 20 minutes or until golden brown.
Brush with melted butter.
