Layer Lettuce Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    lettuce
    celery
    green pepper
    green onion
    frozen peas
    mayo
    bacon bits
    Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Break one head lettuce in decorative glass bowl.
    Sprinkle with 1/2 cup celery, 1/2 cup green pepper, one thin sliced onion (or 1/2 cup chopped green onion) and one box frozen peas, uncooked.
    Spread with 2 cups real mayonnaise.
    Sprinkle with one tablespoon sugar.
    Add enough bacon bits for a light covering and sprinkle with shredded Cheddar cheese.
    Cover.
    Make a day ahead and refrigerate.
