Chocolate Nut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1 c. quick oats
    1 1/2 c. boiling water
    1 c. packed brown sugar
    3 eggs (2 usually will do)
    3/4 c. nuts
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. cocoa
    1 pkg. chocolate chips
    1 c. sugar
    1 pkg. chocolate chips
    confectioners sugar
Preparation
    Fix oatmeal mixture; let stand 10 minutes.
    Stir in butter and sugar; add egg and mix well.
    Add flour mixture.
    Fold in half of chips and spread in greased and floured pan, 13 x 9 x 2-inch. Sprinkle remaining chocolate and nuts on top.
    Bake in preheated oven at 350\u00b0 about 45 minutes.
    Cool in pan.
    Sprinkle with confectioners sugar.
    Serve with Cool Whip (optional).
