Quick And Tasty Jambalaya - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (6.8 oz. each) pkg. Rice-A-Roni Spanish rice
    1 c. cooked, cubed chicken
    1 c. cleaned, cooked and peeled shrimp
    1 c. uncooked smoked sausage, sliced
    1 1/2 c. chopped onions
    3 cloves garlic, minced
    1 tsp. hot pepper sauce
    1 large green pepper, chopped
    1 large can tomatoes, chopped (saving the juice)
Preparation
    In a large skillet, saute rice mix as package directs.
    Stir in 2 cups water, chicken, sausage, onion, tomatoes with juice from can, garlic, hot pepper suace and contents of seasoning packet. Bring to a boil over high heat.
    Cover and simmer for 10 minutes. Stir in shrimp and green pepper.
    Simmer for 10 more minutes until most of the liquid is absorbed.
    More pepper sauce can be added if not hot enough.
    Serves 5.
