Fruit Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1 egg, beaten
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. milk
    4 large Delicious apples, chopped
    1 (No. 2) can crushed pineapple, drained, reserving juice
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Put sugar, flour, egg, butter, milk and reserved pineapple juice in boiler. Cook, stirring constantly until thickened. Cool. Combine apple, pineapple
    and
    nuts.
    Pour
    sauce
    over. Mix and serve. This keeps well and is better the second day.
