Ingredients

6 eggs
1 c. sugar
1/2 stick butter
6 c. milk
6 bananas
2 c. vanilla wafers
1 Tbsp. vanilla extract
Preparation

Separate eggs.
Save egg whites in bowl.
Mix egg yolks, milk and flavoring and sugar in pot.
Cook over medium heat.
Add butter; cook until boiling hard.
Add cut up bananas and thicken with cornstarch.
Add wafers.
Pour in pan.
Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form.
Add 3 tablespoons sugar; spread over pudding, mix and brown.
