My Cousin'S Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. hamburger
    8 oz. can water
    1 tsp. thyme
    salt and pepper to taste
    8 oz. tomato sauce
    2 Tbsp. chili powder
    1 onion, grated
Preparation
    Brown onion in a little bit of olive oil; set aside. Brown hamburger; drain. In a large pan, add onion, hamburger and all other ingredients. Stir well to mix ingredients together. Cook over slow heat for about 45 minutes. Serve with fresh French bread. Can top with grated Cheddar cheese.
