Baked Potatoes In Cream(Serves 6) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 large baking potatoes
    3 large garlic cloves
    2 pt. heavy cream (1 1/2 might do, depending on shallowness of baking dish)
    1/2 c. Gruyere or Swiss cheese, grated
    salt
    freshly ground pepper
Preparation
    Peel potatoes and place in cold water.\tPreheat oven to 300\u00b0. Mince
    garlic.
    Butter casserole.
    Dry and thinly slice 1 potato at\ta
    time.
    Place a layer of potatoes in casserole. Sprinkle with
    garlic,
    salt and plenty of pepper.
    Pour cream over to just
    about cover.\tRepeat procedure.
    Bake for 1 1/2 hours. Sprinkle with cheese and bake for 30 minutes more.
