Chicken Crescent Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 oz. cream cheese, softened
    3 Tbsp. margarine, melted
    3 c. cooked, cubed chicken (6 breasts)
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    2 Tbsp. milk
    1 Tbsp. chopped onion
    bread crumbs
    2 (8 oz.) pkg. Pillsbury crescent rolls
Preparation
    In medium bowl, blend cream cheese and margarine until smooth. Add the next 5 ingredients.
    Separate crescent dough into rectangles; press perforation to seal.
    Spoon 1/2 cup meat mixture into center.
    Pull corners; twist and seal.
    Brush tops with melted margarine.
    Sprinkle bread crumbs on top.
    Bake 20 to 25 minutes on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Can be made ahead and refrigerated.
