Pecan Tassies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1/2 c. butter
1 c. flour
dash of salt
1 egg
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 Tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
2/3 c. coarsely chopped pecans
Preparation

Cheese Pastry:
Let cream cheese and 1/2 cup butter soften at room temperature, then blend together.
Stir in flour.
Chill 1 hour.
Shape into 2 dozen 1-inch balls.
Place in ungreased 1 3/4-inch muffin tins.
Press dough evenly against all sides.
