Hot And Spicy Chicken Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 chicken breasts, skinned, boned and cut into bite size pieces
    1/2 c. chicken broth
    1 medium onion, cut into thin wedges
    1 (8 1/2 oz.) pkg. corn bread mix
    2 (4 oz.) cans diced chili peppers, drained
    1/2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen whole kernel corn
    1/2 c. sliced celery
    1/2 c. salsa picante
    4 tsp. cornstarch
    1 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Combine chicken, corn, broth, celery and onion.
    Bring to boiling; reduce heat.
    Simmer 10 to 15 minutes.
    Add salsa.
    Stir 2 tablespoons water into cornstarch.
    Add to chicken mixture. Cook and stir until bubbly.
    Cook 2 minutes more.
    Prepare corn bread according to package directions.
    Pour chicken mixture into 10 x 6 x 2-inch baking dish.
    Sprinkle with cheese and chilies. Spoon corn bread atop.
    Bake in 425\u00b0 oven 20 minutes.
    Serves 4 to 6.
