Canned Apple Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 hot peppers
    5 onions
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 c. boiling water
    14 large red apples
    1 qt. vinegar
    1 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. whole spice
    1 Tbsp. cloves
    1 stick cinnamon
Preparation
    Grind peppers and onions.
    Add salt and water.
    Let stand 15 minutes and drain.
    Remove cores and chop apples with skins on. Add apples, vinegar and sugar to pepper and onion mixture.
    Add cloth bag containing spices and cook 10 or 15 minutes.
    Put in sterilized jars and seal.
