Easy Do Pralines - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. butterscotch pudding mix
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. evaporated milk
    1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 1/2 c. pecans
Preparation
    Combine ingredients, except pecans.
    Cook slowly until dissolved.
    Add pecans.
    Boil slowly until candy thermometer registers 235\u00b0 to 240\u00b0 or until candy forms soft ball.
    Remove from heat and beat until mixture thickens.
    Drop by spoonfuls onto wax paper.
    Yields 15 (4-inch) patties.
