Con Queso Dip - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. ground beef or turkey
    1/4 c. onion, chopped
    1 Tbsp. chopped garlic
    1 lb. Velveeta cheese, cut up
    1 (24 oz.) jar salsa (your preference or degree of hotness)
Preparation
    Brown meat in onion and garlic.
    Drain.
    Melt Velveeta in microwave-safe bowl in microwave with salsa approximately 2 1/2 minutes.
    Stir to blend.
    Add ground meat.
    Cover and heat on High 2 to 3 minutes.
    Stir and cover again and heat again 1 to 2 minutes.
    Stir and cover again and heat again 1 to 2 minutes. Serve with tortilla chips.
