Oatmeal Crisps - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. nuts
1 tsp. soda
1 1/2 c. flour
2 beaten eggs
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. granulated sugar
3 c. oats
Preparation

Cream shortening and sugars.
Add eggs and vanilla; beat well. Add all ingredients, but nuts and oats; beat well.
Add nuts and oats.
Form in rolls and chill at least 45 minutes in refrigerator.
Slice 1/8 to 1/4-inch thick and bake on ungreased sheet at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
Makes 5 dozen.
