Company Beef Oriental - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. hamburg
1 onion, chopped
1 clove garlic
1/4 c. soy sauce
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 Tbsp. molasses
1 tsp. beef bouillon
3/4 c. hot water
1 pkg. frozen pea pods
8 oz. can water chestnuts
5 oz. can bamboo shoots
11 oz. can mandarin oranges
Preparation

Cook hamburg, onion and garlic until brown.
Drain fat.
Add soy sauce, cornstarch, molasses, bouillon, water and juice from oranges.
Simmer 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add pea pods, water chestnuts (drained) and bamboo shoots (drained).
Heat 5 to 10 minutes.
Add oranges and heat 5 minutes more.
Serve over hot rice.
