Aunt Louise'S Lime Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 lb. cucumbers, sliced 1/4 inch thick
    2 gal. water
    3/4 c. lime (pickling)
    2 qt. vinegar
    4 1/2 lb. sugar
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 tsp. celery seed
    2 Tbsp. pickling spice
Preparation
    Put cucumbers in container (not aluminum); cover with lime and water.
    Soak 24 hours.
    Drain cucumbers and wash off lime.
    Cover with water and soak 3 hours.
