Cherry Orange Chicken - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 (2 to 3 lb.) fryers, cut up
4 Tbsp. butter, melted
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. orange peel, shredded or grated
1/4 tsp. ground ginger
1/2 c. orange juice
1 (1 lb.) can dark sweet cherries, drained
Preparation

Place chicken in baking pan.
Pour melted butter over. Combine brown sugar, orange peel, ginger and orange juice.
Pour over chicken.
Bake uncovered at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
Remove and add drained cherries.
Return to oven; bake 30 minutes or until chicken is tender and golden brown.
Makes 8 servings.
