Stuffed Bell Peppers - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. very lean ground round
1/2 c. rice, uncooked
1 c. diced onions
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce, divided in half
1/4 c. catsup
1/4 c. water
approximately 10 saltine crackers, crumbled
1 egg
1 Tbsp. chili powder
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. crushed parsley flakes
salt and pepper to taste
3 large bell peppers, cut into thirds
Preparation

Spray baking dish (Pyrex or Corning Ware) with Pam.
Mix together meat, rice, salt, pepper, crackers, onions, egg, chili powder, water, 1/2 of tomato sauce, sugar, parsley flakes and catsup.
Stuff bell pepper pieces with meat mixture.
