Baked Custard - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs
    1/3 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Beat eggs slightly to mix.
    Add sugar and salt and beat to mix. Scald milk (crinkly film forms on top).
    Stir into egg mixture. Add vanilla.
    Pour into a baking dish (1 1/2-quart).
    Set in a pan of hot water.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes, just until silver knife inserted 1-inch from edge comes out clean.
    Immediately remove from heat.
    Center sets as it stands.
    Makes 6 servings.
