Honey Nut Granola - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. oats (uncooked)
    1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1/2 c. sunflower nuts or chopped nuts
    1/3 c. honey
    1/3 c. butter or margarine, melted
    1/4 c. unprocessed bran or wheat germ
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 c. raisins, chopped dried apricots or chopped dates
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
    Combine all ingredients, except raisins; mix well.
    Bake in lightly greased 13 x 9-inch baking pan at 325\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Stir in raisins.
    Spread mixture onto ungreased cookie sheet; cool.
    Store in cool dry place or in refrigerator.
    Makes about 6 cups.
