Sausage-N-Cheese Strata - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 lb. bulk pork sausage
3/4 c. sliced mushrooms
1/4 c. green onion, chopped
1/2 c. Cheddar cheese, grated
4 c. croutons or bread crumbs
1 c. milk
4 eggs, beaten
Preparation

Brown sausage, drain.
Add vegetables and cook 5 minutes.
Let cool 10 minutes.
Stir into sausage mixture cheese and croutons. Pour into 8-inch square casserole dish.
Beat eggs and milk.
Pour over sausage mixture.
Cover and let set in refrigerator awhile. Take from refrigerator and bake 350\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes until brown.
Makes 6 servings.
