Egg Nog - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 egg yolks
    1/2 lb. (8 oz.) sugar
    1 qt. milk
    1/2 fifth light rum
    1 qt. (four 1/2 pt.) heavy cream, stiffly whipped
Preparation
    In a blender, beat the egg yolks until light.
    Add the sugar and beat until thick. Stir into a bowl or gallon jug.
    Add the milk and rum. Chill for 3 hours.
    Pour into punch bowl and fold in the whipped cream.
    Chill 1 hour longer.
    Before serving, dust with nutmeg.
