Potato, Cabbage And Bacon Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. shredded green cabbage
    1 large onion, chopped
    1/2 lb. bacon, cut into 1/4-inch cubes
    2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
    1/4 tsp. leaf thyme
    salt
    pepper
    1 lb. boiling potatoes, thinly sliced
    3/4 c. de-fatted chicken broth
    1/2 c. shredded low-fat Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Coat 3-quart casserole with nonstick cooking spray.
    Layer half of the cabbage and onions.
    Sprinkle with half the bacon.
    Sprinkle with half of the parsley, thyme, salt and pepper.
    Put half of the potatoes on top.
    Repeat, ending with potatoes.
    Pour broth over. Sprinkle with cheese.
    Cover and bake in oven at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Uncover and bake 15 minutes more or until top is brown.
