Spicy Peach Jam - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. peaches, peeled and mashed
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. ground cloves
    1/2 tsp. allspice
    1 box powdered fruit pectin
    5 1/2 c. sugar
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients except sugar and bring to rolling boil. Stir constantly.
    Add sugar.
    Continue stirring.
    Skim and ladle into 8 half-pint glasses.
    Cover with 1/8-inch paraffin.
