Bulgar Primavera Salad(Tabouli) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. bulgar wheat
2 c. water
1 1/3 c. chopped tomato
1/2 c. dried currants
1/2 c. hulled, roasted sunflower seeds
1/3 c. shredded carrot
2 green onions, finely chopped
1 small clove galic
2 Tbsp. finely chopped fresh mint
1 Tbsp. finely chopped fresh basil
pinch of dried oregano
1/4 c. red wine vinegar
1/4 c. tamari or regular soy sauce
1/4 c. olive oil
Preparation

Place bulgar in large, heatproof bowl.
Bring water to boiling.
Pour over bulgar.
Let stand 20 minutes.
Drain bulgar thoroughly.
Return bulgar to large bowl.
Add tomatoes, currants, sunflower seeds, carrot, green onion, garlic, mint, basil and oregano.
Whisk together tamari, vinegar and oil in small bowl. Pour over bulgar mixture.
Mix well.
