Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 c. flour
1/4 c. sugar
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. shortening
1 pkg. dry yeast
2 c. buttermilk
4 Tbsp. warm water
Preparation

Sift dry ingredients together.
Cut in shortening with pastry blender to cornmeal size. Dissolve yeast in warm water and add with buttermilk to dry mix.
Mix well. Turn onto floured board and knead lightly. Roll out about 1/4-inch thick. Cut with biscuit cutter.
Place on cookie sheet.
Brush with butter. Bake at 400\u00b0 about 15 minutes.
Dough will keep in refrigerator and can be used as needed.
