Brownies - cooking recipe

2 c. all-purpose flour
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. unsweetened cocoa
1 c. (2 sticks) butter, softened
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. nuts (optional)
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0. In large mixer bowl, combine flour, sugar, cocoa, butter, eggs and vanilla. Beat at low speed 1 to 2 minutes. Stir in nuts. Spread into greased 13 x 9 x 2 baking pan. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until firm to the touch. Cool and cut. Makes about 2 dozen bars.
