Gingerbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. molasses
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/2 c. cold water
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
-
Beat first 6 ingredients well and then add dry mix.
Bake in 8-inch pan at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes.
Ice if desired.
