Hot Fudge Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 Tbsp. butter
    4 sq. unsweetened chocolate
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. milk
    1 can condensed milk
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    pinch of salt
Preparation
    Melt chocolate and butter together in double boiler over hot water.
    Slowly add sugar, milk and salt.
    Cook over medium heat until thickened.
    This takes quite a while.
    Slowly add condensed milk and stir well.
    Cook as before for 2 minutes.
    Remove from heat.
    Add vanilla.
    Let stand until thickened.
    Store in covered jar in refrigerator.
    This keeps for a long time.
