Stuffed Peppers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 medium-sized green peppers
    1/2 lb. ground beef
    1/2 lb. ground pork
    1 c. washed rice
    1 large can tomato juice
    1 large onion
    3 Tbsp. onion
    3 Tbsp. Crisco
    2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
    1/2 pt. sour cream
Preparation
    Cut tops of peppers off and remove seeds.
    Mince onions and brown in Crisco.
    Mix into meat, rice and seasonings.
    Stuff peppers to 1/4 inch from top.
    Place upright in roaster; add the tomato juice.
    Make sure peppers stay upright.
