Cherry Dessert - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (1/4 lb.) pkg. soda crackers, crushed
1/2 c. butter
3 egg whites
1 c. sugar
1 can cherry pie filling
1 (8 oz.) carton Cool Whip
Preparation

Crush soda crackers; mix in butter and spread in a 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 minutes. Beat the egg whites until stiff, adding the sugar while beating. Put on top of cooled crust. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes. Cool. Spread pie filling over top of whites, then lastly spread with Cool Whip. Refrigerate.
