Hedge Hogs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. dates
    2 c. nuts (pecans or walnuts)
    2 beaten eggs
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 1/2 c. coconut
Preparation
    Grind dates and nuts in food chopper.
    Add beaten eggs and sugar.
    Add coconut and blend well. Shape with your hands into logs and roll in additional coconut.
    (Use the stringy kind.) Bake at 375\u00b0 for 12 minutes.
    These will be soft, but get chewy as they cool.
