Baked Yams Or Sweet Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 to 6 medium-sized yams or sweet potatoes
    solid shortening or bacon pan drippings for flavor
    butter or margarine
    1 pkg. Italian bread crumbs
    2 large zucchini
    salt and pepper to taste
    2 eggs, beaten
    cooking oil
Preparation
    Place Italian bread crumbs in a shallow dish.
    Set aside. Peel each zucchini and cut into slices about 1/2 inch thick.
    Salt and pepper all slices.
