Rich Tomato Beef Sauce Served Over Pasta - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. onion, finely chopped
1/4 c. celery, diced
4 oz. mushrooms, sliced
2 large cloves garlic, minced
2 Tbsp. olive oil
1 1/4 lb. ground beef
2 tsp. oregano
dash of basil
dash of thyme
2 bay leaves
2 tsp. Italian seasonings
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 (20 oz.) can tomatoes
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
1 c. beef stock
1/4 to 1/2 c. red wine
Preparation

Saute onions, celery, mushrooms and garlic in oil in large saucepan.
Add beef and continue cooking until meat begins to brown.
Drain excess fat.
Add all other ingredients.
Bring to a boil, stirring often.
Reduce heat and simmer slowly 1 hour. Serve over favorite pasta.
