Rommegrot - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. butter or oleo
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 qt. half and half
5 tsp. sugar
Preparation

Melt butter in large, stainless or heavy pan.
Add flour and salt, stirring to mix, then add half and half very slowly, stirring constantly.
Heat and stir until it thickens.
Remove from heat and add sugar.
Melt 1/4 cup butter and pour over Rommegrot in serving bowl.
Also, sprinkle top with sugar and cinnamon.
Makes 5 cups.
Freezes nicely.
