Chicken Artichoke Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 lb.) fryer, cut up
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. paprika
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    6 Tbsp. butter
    1/4 lb. mushrooms, cut in large pieces
    2 Tbsp. flour
    2/3 c. chicken consomme or bouillon
    3 Tbsp. sherry
    1 (15 oz.) can artichoke hearts, drained
Preparation
    Salt,
    pepper
    and
    paprika
    the chicken pieces.
    Brown them in 4 tablespoons butter.
    Place in large casserole.
    Put 2 tablespoons butter into frying pan and saute mushrooms in it for 5 minutes.
    Sprinkle the flour over the mushrooms and stir in
    the chicken
    consomme and the sherry.
    While this cooks 5 minutes, open
    the artichokes and arrange between the chicken pieces.
    Pour the
    sauce
    over the chicken and artichokes and bake
    at
    375\u00b0 for
    40
    minutes.
    You can prepare this in the morning or even the day
    before.
    Do
    not
    bake until at room temperature.
