Dessert Cups - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    thin white sandwich bread slices
    soft butter (not melted)
    1 c. sugar
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    pie filling
    whipped topping
Preparation
    Cut crust off edges of bread.
    Butter both sides of bread. Put bread into cinnamon and sugar.
    Place into cupcake pan; bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
    Let cool completely until hard.
    Add favorite pie filling.
    Place whipped topping on when ready to serve.
