Ripe Tomato Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. peeled chopped ripe tomatoes
    2 green hot peppers, chopped
    3 large onions, chopped
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. vinegar
    1 c. sugar
Preparation
    Sprinkle ingredients with salt. Let set about 5 to 10 minutes; drain. Put in large pot and add sugar. Bring to a boil; cook for 4 or 5 minutes. Add vinegar and continue to cook over low heat until thick. Pack in clean jars and seal. Makes 2 to 3 pints.
