Real French Chocolate - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
    1/2 c. white corn syrup
    1/4 c. water
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 pt. heavy cream, whipped
    2 qt. milk
Preparation
    Melt chocolate, corn syrup, water and vanilla in top of double boiler.
    Cool.
    Beat cream while adding cooled chocolate, until cream mounds.
    Refrigerate.
