New England Clam Chowder - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. margarine or butter
1 1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
1/2 c. plus 3 Tbsp. flour
3 c. milk
3 cans minced clams
3 cans whole clams
2 medium carrots, grated
2 cans potatoes, diced and drained
1 large onion, diced and softened in microwave
2 Tbsp. parsley
1 to 2 tsp. pepper
2 tsp. Italian seasoning
8 to 10 oz. sour cream
Preparation

In large pot melt the margarine with the seasoned salt and flour until bubbly.
Slowly add the milk and stir until smooth and thick.
Add the clams with liquid.
Add grated carrots, drained and diced potatoes and onion.
Add parsley and seasonings.
Add sour cream and stir hard.
Simmer 1 hour.
Can be frozen.
Can add milk if too thick.
