Cabbage Slaw - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 large cabbage, grated
1 carrot, grated
2 medium onions, chopped
1 1/4 c. sugar
1 c. vinegar
3/4 c. vegetable oil
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 Tbsp. salt
1 tsp. celery seed
1 Tbsp. plus 1 tsp. sugar
Preparation

Put cabbage, carrots and onions in small bowl.
Cover with sugar.
Do not stir.
Bring remaining ingredients to a boil.
Pour over cabbage mixture. Do not stir.
Cover, chill for 4 hours before serving.
Will keep for 1 month in refrigerator and will be just as crispy.
