Macaroni Cheddar Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. cooked small elbow or small shell macaroni
    2 Tbsp. chopped onion
    2 Tbsp. chopped pimento
    2 Tbsp. chopped green pepper
    1/2 c. diced celery
    1/2 c. French dressing
    1/4 c. mayonnaise
    1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1 tsp. salt (adjust to taste)
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    lettuce
Preparation
    Combine the macaroni, onion, pimento, green pepper and celery; let stand in the French dressing for an hour or more.
    Add the mayonnaise and cheese.
    Season with salt and pepper; toss.
    Serve in a salad bowl lined with crisp lettuce.
