Pepper Steak - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. round steak
1/4 c. oil
2 c. water
1/2 tsp. ginger
2 green peppers, sliced
1 onion, sliced
2 tomatoes, wedged
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
4 Tbsp. soy sauce
4 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. garlic salt
Preparation

Partially freeze steak and slice into bite-sized pieces. Brown steak in oil in wok or skillet.
Add water, onion, garlic and ginger and cook, covered, 15 minutes.
Add peppers and cook 3 minutes.
Mix cornstarch, sugar and soy sauce.
Add to wok and cook until clear and thick.
(Peppers should be tender-crisp.) Add tomatoes to wok; heat 2 to 3 minutes.
Delicious with rice or mashed potatoes.
