Lemon Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. butter
    6 eggs, beaten well
    3 oz. lemon extract (pure; use all)
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 box white or dark raisins
    4 c. chopped pecans
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    4 c. plain flour (I use self-rising)
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 small bottle cherries, drained
Preparation
    Mix all this well and set oven at 300\u00b0 for about 2 hours. Bake in angel food cake pan (10-inch pan).
    May take less time to cook due to oven.
